Sunny stick insects (Sungaya inexpectata) available for sale!!! When mature, they reach 5 to 9 cm in length. Females develop a beautiful, distinct dorsal stripe or horizontal stripes across their abdomen and thorax, and males are smaller, brown in colour and sometimes have harmless spines on their back. Sunny stick insects have a lifespan of around 1 to 1.5 years with proper care. This species can reproduce with males; however, they are parthenogenic, meaning they can produce offspring without males. Their diet consists of either oak, bramble, Raspberry, Hazel, Rose, or Privet. However, these babies have been raised on bramble, so they may prefer that option. Originating from the Philippines, they need an ambient temperature of 20-26 degrees Celsius, so a house temperature is fine, if kept away from direct sunlight and draughts. They will need to be sprayed with water to maintain humidity. A care sheet will be provided that I have personally completed to ensure they have the best care possible :)
