About me!

Hi, my name's Imy!

I have a lifelong passion for nature, ecosystems and conservation.

I adore exotic pets and have snakes, geckos, frogs, millipedes, spiders and various insects, all of which live in carefully prepared and managed vivariums.

However, I prefer not to use the sterile habitats that are typically sold in shops. I like my animals' habitats to be bioactive. This means that they contain plants and populations of small invertebrates and microorganisms to consume and break down my pets’ waste products.

A Bioactive habitat reduces enclosure maintenance (removing faeces and changing out substrate), whilst also providing a more natural environment for the animal, nurturing their natural behaviours and instincts.

Biome Bombs Ltd is dedicated to providing a wide range of high-quality isopods and other organisms, and related equipment for exotic pet owners to enrich their exotic pets' lives.
