Halloween hissing cockroaches (Elliptorhina javanica) available for sale!!! When mature, they reach 4 to 6 cm in length. Adult males have prominent bumps on their pronotum (the shield just behind the head). They also come in beautiful, striking colours such as orange and dark brown. Halloween hissing cockroaches have a lifespan of around 2 to 3 years with proper care. This species can reproduce with males; however, they are parthenogenic, meaning they can produce offspring without males. Their diet consists of fresh fruits and vegetables, a small amount of protein, calcium, and decaying organic matter. Originating from Madagascar, they need an ambient temperature of 24-29 degrees Celsius and, in a warm area, should be kept away from direct sunlight and draughts. They will need to be sprayed with water to maintain humidity. A care sheet will be provided that I have personally completed to ensure they have the best care possible :)
