Macleay's spectre stick insects (Extatosoma tiaratum) available for sale!!! When mature, they reach 9 to 20 cm in length. Females develop spines across their abdomen, thorax, and legs. They also come in an array of colours such as orange and dark brown. Males are smaller and brown in colour, with beautiful wings that they display and use to glide. Macleay's spectre stick insects have a lifespan of around 1 to 1.5 years with proper care. This species can reproduce with males; however, they are parthenogenic, meaning they can produce offspring without males. Their diet consists of either oak, bramble, Raspberry, Eucalyptus, Rose, or Hawthorn. However, these babies have been raised on bramble, so they may prefer that option. Originating from Australia, they need an ambient temperature of 21-27 degrees Celsius and, in a warm area, should be kept away from direct sunlight and draughts. They will need to be sprayed with water to maintain humidity. A care sheet will be provided that I have personally completed to ensure they have the best care possible :)
