A pack of dairy cow isopods (Porcellio laevis). These are native to the Mediterranean basin and North Africa and are known for their striking black-and-white spotted pattern and smooth dorsal surface. Once they mature, they can reach up to 3cm in length. They help break down waste, leftover food, and organic matter in terrariums. Dairy cow isopods are completely safe to keep with reptiles and amphibians. If accidentally eaten, they serve as a great source of calcium for your pet. Dairy cow isopods thrive at temperatures between 18°C and 28°C, making them versatile for different setups. Additionally, they are hardy and easy to care for, requiring a moisture gradient and 50%-70% humidity overall, with proper ventilation. Their diet consists of decaying hardwood, leaf litter, rotting wood, and vegetable scraps. They should also be supplemented with calcium sources like cuttlefish bone. A care sheet will be provided that I have personally completed to ensure they have the best care possible :)
